Think we could make Sunday at 12:30? Or at 12:15 at my house? Or something? Chris gets back from the gym at 11:45, meaning I'll have to hustle.

I'll be flexible if the posted time works for everybody else, though.

Oh good, revision will be made.

i'm in on Sunday. can you guys wait up?

It better melt quite a bit before we get out there. The bridges on the keystone and shaded areas are super dangerous. I wont take my roadbike out until the ice melts off my street. hopefully today and saturday that is happening in full force. I'll see if i can convince rox to come out.

Holy crap. Sounds like we'll have a decent sized group on Sunday.

Ryan, use your mad wicked skizzils to float over the ice on your road bike. If you think about it, most road bike tires use a rubber compound that's meant to stick to wet roads. Ice is pretty much the same thing.

I may load up a pack with a big bag of ice melt and hit the trail tonight. Make is safe for everyone.

or we could just, you know, NOT RIDE ON THE TRAILS. gasp!

I'm not waiting for you, Ryan. Piss off.

True. We could head toward downtown, do Bellevue blvd, then see where we're at once we get close to the bridge. Bring some change for a possible toll bridge crossing.

I think that's probably a safer bet. Much more interesting, too.

But where are we running tomorrow morning? Please don't say out and back on the Keystone ...

Brady had a decent route last time we did that mileage. It was basically past Peter Keiwit, through Elmwood over to Memorial, North through those neighborhoods with a couple good climbs then back home. It's a round about loop, but you'll see some things twice.

So you're joining us eh? I haven't run at all since the last 11 miler about 2 weeks ago. So this will be interesting. At least I'm getting a good jumpstart on the '08 Pound Melt Challenge.

Although, now that I think about it, the wind's out of the South, so maybe that will change. We'll see tomorrow morning.

bryan said...

I'll be there. I'm feeling good, too. Maybe I'll go fast.

bryan said...

FYI, Sunday wind is forecast to be from the NW.

munsoned said...

Ooh. That might call for a meeting place change. I'll post a proposal.

brady said...

Proposal? Yikes.

Anyway, I'm in for tomorrow's run. Meet at 8:00am Starbucks on 63rd and Center confirmed.
