So we did 3 laps. There's this sweet dip with a ramp that you can catch air on. Photographers know this, such as Tom Winfield. So the 2nd lap I knew he was setup at the ramp and decided to have some fun with it:
Then the 3rd lap, after my donation of flesh to the trail gods, this is the difference:
I'd say I'm just a little less happy in the 2nd pic. Hopefully my skin graft gift will appease the trail gods for quite a while. Feel the burn!!

nice riding
Mike, I think you got me sick in some weird form of telekinesis. I've had the shits/barfs for 6 days now. I tried to ride yesterday and barely got it outta the big ring. Man, I can't wait for snake alley! hahaha Talk about Uber Pwnage. Too bad there aren't any trees for me to take myself out on.
Dang dude. You got some air off that one. Brave man on a rigid bike. That'd destroy my knees.
yeah yeah whatever. you rode a fat boy off some jumps (got some phat air, yo!)...took a few tumbles...drank a beer afterwards, had Shim make fun of you until he got off, went home and pigged out like you just got done riding a double century. Yeah MTBing must be rough.
Ok, I'm just mad that I don't have a MTB. Never said I was mad about any of the other stuff listed above...
Peter, I didn't have anything like that your sickness. Just total stuffiness where I couldn't breath and coughing that kept me up all night. I think I got off easy compared to losing that much fluid like you did for 6 days. Hope you get some IV's going so you're hydrated enough to push it up the Alley this weekend.
Mr. Bread, my knees have no probs with the rigid, but my wrists/hands sorta complain. After MOD gave me a hard enough time, I switched out my upside down cruiser bars. The sweep back was nice, but I couldn't seem to get my positioning right. I might try those Ergon grips to see if that helps.
It's interesting cause I've had a couple crashes on the road and they were way worse than my crash in the dirt. Granted I didn't actually hit any trees/rocks, or fall off a drop, all possible while off road, but my bumps and bruises are healing much faster than my road crash experiences. Different but good I guess.
