Our friends Dude, Donnie and Walter were on G4 today. I was trying to avert my eyes from the disaster that is Carlos Zambrano on the mound for the Cubs.As it came back from the commercial, I heard Dude's phone ringing. And ringing. And ringing. And that meant it was time for the seminal scene for the Shabbos +1 (aka Shomer Shabbes) ride. "Shomer Shabbos! Shomer fuckin' Shabbos!"
Plans are underway for this week's ride. Sounds like the Petarr won't be in attendance, and Munson may have to drive the support car. That leaves me and ... who, again?
Saturday night update: No Shabbos +1. I'm gonna go for a run and be nice to the mom-to-be who puts up with me.
