Gravel Conditions
Rode the gravel today (one way), it started out fine, but there were definitely some sloppy spots and they got worse as the day went on. We ended up bailing and riding hwy 370 back from Gretna. On the other hand the roads outside of town were pretty dry. I'll probably try a road ride (cross bike) tomorrow no details at this time. I'll try to post something later if anyone is interested.

Yeah, the little bit of gravel we tried today was ridiculous. If your fenders are close to your tires at all, you'll stop dead in your tracks. But after we got back on the road and hit a few puddles, it rinsed away the mud/ice. It also turned my drivetrain and rear wheel green, but....uh....yeah.
C'mon munsoned, you know that you had fun... :-)
On the other hand I rode, hwy 370, hwy 50, Platteview rd, and Buffalo rd today all very rideable with minimal road grime, looks like the road season is upon us.
