This was another great song to skate to.

I was a skater punk during my heavy metal years. Good times....good times.

Mike, did you like Faith No More? If you didn't, just go shoot yourself or at least your CD collection. FNM was amazing. I saw the lead singer's new solo career (Peeping Tom) in concert this summer in OC.

REALLY!!?!?!?! Hells yeah FNM is schweet. I first liked them when they had a different lead singer. The song that was semi-popular from them with that lead singer was "We Care Alot." Great song because they say things like "We care alot about transformers because they're more than meets the eye." But yeah, the newer lead singer (Mike Patton?) has amazing vocal ability and a great stage show. I loved "Surprize, You're Dead" on the album the real thing. Good stuff.

Holy crap, I just googled their lyrics and they've had like 4 other albums since The Real Thing. Man, maybe I found some new(old) music to get into. Thanks Petey!

dude Mike Patton is amazing. He opened for Knarls Barkley and no one in oc knew who he was except for some tattood creep that was giving his toddler sips of his margarita. But, he came out on stage in a white tuxedo and a hairnet. It was wild. FNM is a legendary band. We Care A lot was the only big song they had with the first singer (slash or something is his name?). I liked the Mike Patton stuff a lot more. They are just fun to listen to.

My current band is Pavement. Please tell me you liked them...

Hmm. Never heard of Pavement. I'll have to look for some of their stuff.

Have you heard of Coheed and Cambria? They were kinda recent, but also just recently sort of disbanded. I guess they came around in 99 and toured a lot with their first album. They've had 2 since then and they are amazing. All their music is basically a soundtrack for a story that the lead singer has been working on forever. He's tried to get some comics or animation going about this story, but nothing has really panned out. Great stuff.

Yeah, I remember them. They came out big like 2 summers ago. I never really listened to a lot of their stuff. But yeah, it's a fat frizzy-haired mexican with a girl voice...which is pretty unique. Do you have an ipod? Gimme your cd's sometime and I'll put it on mine. I have a 80 gig. I need to fill up all 8,000 songs.
