Wabash Saturday... 11/7/2009

I am taking the cross bike out on the Wabash Saturday, but you can probably do it on the road bike without a problem. Pace should be pretty relaxed (175-200W with no surges over 250W) for me so I can't think anybody will get dropped. If you want to go faster I'll probably Venga, Venga, Venga but I will let you ride me off your wheel and I will not care. Strictly headed out there for base miles as its that time of the year.

Time: 9AM
Place: Council Bluffs Wabash Trailhead
Duration: 3ish hours of riding

  2. I'm likely doing the Pedal-Omaha gravel ride, leaving the downtown Scooters at 8:00 am Saturday

  3. Crappity crap crap. The woman may have me reserved for the afternoon, but I could ride for a while. I may see if she's cool with me not being home till 1pm. Cause if I ride there, do the 3 hrs, then ride home, that should put me in at 1pm.

I shall repost with a yes/no when I find out.

  10. 175-200 watts = lower end - medium endurance type riding.

  12. Mike, I figure Rafal and friends will show up to the trailhead right about 9am, or shortly thereafter. We could decide then if we all want to take the Gravel roads or the Wabash. My guess is the gravel roads will have hills, though. So going easy may be harder in that sense.

    We'll figure it out.

  14. Hey, hey Matt!! Back as in for good, or just visiting. If you're just visiting, hopefully the weather will hold out so we can keep up the Shabbos rides for you.

  15. Munson, so you are in, is that what I read? Are you riding over?

  16. Yes, I'm in and riding over, which is why I was thinking of hitching onto Rafal's group. However, if we really want to stick to Wabash only (which I would just slightly prefer) then I could bypass the coffee stop and be at the trailhead by or before 9am.
